Huang Qiang

Short Biography

Qiang Huang (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 1986 and 1989, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, in 1996.,From 1996 to 1999, he was a Research Fellow with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Japan. From 1999 to 2000, he was a Research Fellow with the University of Tokyo, Japan. Since 2000, he has been a Professor with the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, where he is currently the Executive Director with the Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Intelligent Robots and Systems. His research interests include biped locomotion and biorobotic systems.,Dr. Huang was the recipient of the IFToMM Award of Merit.(Based on document published on 12 May 2023).
